Wayne from Melbourne, AustraliaHe looks like he's psyching himself up to launch himself into space...he's got that very bullety look to him and the covering he's under only accentuates that feeling for me =D 2 Feb 2007 5:19am @Wayne: He tore off under that trailer after I caught him off guard while taking a walk around my job that day. objectif-plume from Belgiummaybe it's not your best shot, but it is a very funny one. i like it 2 Feb 2007 10:37am @objectif-plume: Thanks much, I wish I had caught him running for a full body shot. Jerry from Tampa, United StatesPerfect timing my friend and another fine shot! How in the world did you manage to catch the little guy??? 2 Feb 2007 11:09am @Jerry: When I came around the corner he was happily munching on some grass, our eyes met and he pealed outta there like brown furry rodent lightning to a safe spot under a metal storage trailer . I waited him out, thinking his hunger might over come his fear of me. Unfortunetly all I could get was this head shot of him waiting for me to move on. Thanks much fo the comment ! Craiger from Vacaville, California, United StatesLooks like he might have seen his shadow! 2 Feb 2007 2:04pm @Craiger: Judgeing by the sudden drop in tempiture here I'd have to agree ! For those of you from other countries that don't know, on Groundhogs day if a particular groundhog (Punxsutawney Phil ) comes out of his hole and sees his shadow we are fated for several additional weeks of winter ! You can see Phil's official prediction here : http://www.punxsutawneyphil.com/ Jen from United StatesCute! He looks like he's waiting for his opportunity to flee!!! 2 Feb 2007 3:01pm @Jen: Thanks Jen, this little bugger had already fled from me ! I'm glad you enjoyed the picture ; ) @Carol: Carol, don't thank me to soon !
seventhray from Wayland, United StatesHow Cute! May not be perfect but you've one-up me! I had a couple living in a shak near my house for a whole summer and I still couldn't manage to get a pic of one of them! They are fast and nervouse little critters. 2 Feb 2007 4:17pm @seventhray: If they are close to your home a good method to catch them on film is to take the photo threw a window from indoors. Your right about them being nervous critters, they are destructive too, so be careful about tripping on those groundhog holes when you walk about the yard . Thanks much for the comment. jaclyn from dallas, United Statesawww, so cute! 2 Feb 2007 5:49pm @jaclyn: Thanks for the compliment ! @Yanle: I'm glad you like the shot ! j. coleman miller from Houston, United StatesYou need to come down here for a visit... 3 Feb 2007 7:16am @j. coleman miller: I'm thinking I'm about due for a vacation..but the last time I was in Texas they had freak ice storms ! Thanks for the invite ! @Donna: Thank you very much ! |
