Well I really have to trim down this series a little, there are so many photos it could go on for months ! So I'll just give the low down of what happened.
Hillary's flight that had been scheduled for 7:30 had been delayed for many hours, we all had got there early so she wouldn't miss the original ride out. After much confusion as to if she would be leaving at all that evening we found out after 6 or so hours that no flights were going to Chicago until the following morning.
This was a problem, I had three teenagers who needed to get home before their parents freaked out due to the fact they had school the next day. And Hillary who need to catch the plane several hours from that point.
There was no choice, They had to go and there was no way I was going to let Hill sleep in the airport, I took on the task of getting her safely on the plane and that's what was going to happen. So we all piled back in the van and drove 80 miles back to Jane's parents house in Easton.
The young men went on there way, Jane and Hill went to bed while I caught a measly two hours of sleep on the couch before we had to drive all the way back to Philly .
Regardless to say, the alarm clock built into my cell phone wasn't enough to rip me from my sleep. I sprang up an hour after it went off and woke up Hill. Back to the van, only taking time for a drive threw breakfast and McDonald's we were on our way again.
We were both exhausted, I let her sleep for most of the ride. We were late for the flight, luckily they booked her on the next one and she had just enough time to make it.
I got my conformation from Hill that she was safe on the plane via text message then went home to sleep for close to two days !
There is a moral to this story, I'm just not sure what the hell it is right now but I can say... Next time the flight better be booked out of Newark !
Now if you've made it this far your ready to embark on the second leg of this trip...From here on in it's Hillary solo with my camera flying cross country to her modeling gig.... Enjoy !
Here she is having fun with mirrors in the planes rest room.
By the way, I didn't forget.... Happy B'day Mom ! ( I know your watching , I'll post a proper photo after I take a few at the party tonight )

Well, she's gorgeous - and you deserve a medal for your heroic efforts to get her there (oh and entertain the teens!!)

@Bronnie: Err gee, thanks... I appreciate the comment but take me at my word heroism has nothing to do with it. But you did make me blush alittle lol .
Sounds like you are both having fun! And turned out some fun images! Cheers Fred!

@Jerry: Yes it was fun and there are so many good images it's hard to pick which ones to post !
Fabulous eyes! You were so nice to go through all that for her! You're a great guy! Hope she has a safe and successful trip!

@Jen: Thanks for the compliment, but I'm sure any of them would do the same for me . Anyway she did have a safe trip and a few adventures in Chicago . I have to admit I'm envious my camera went along without me !
Come back to see some of those shots : )
This is a great shot - no context or narrative needed - it's a stand-alone gem!

@Sidonie: Oh sure Sid, no narrative needed. That's all I'm doing in this series, just cut the old guy out she says haha !
( You know I'm kidding ! )
Ahhhh I see. Well, my guess was wrong. I guess we're off to Chicago now, eh?

@Bullseye: Yep , were moving right along !
Just went through this very enjoyable series-- WHAT a patient guy you are, or rather you have a great sense of fun, which comes through on these photos very well. The black and white works brilliantly--- lots of fun.

@Sylvia: I'm glad your enjoying the series, I still haven't desided how long to run this one. ( There were over 500 photos on the memory chip when I got the camera back ! ) But I must say by reading the comments most seem to be enjoying this one. She has quite a few pics from back stage at the modleing show and some very good ones from the down time in between shows that I may follow up on.
