I have to admit as I'm scanning these old photos into the computer ( I'm in the process of that right now as I type ) they are bringing back quite a few fond memories . Thanks for your comments !

@Laurie: Thank you very much Jen, yep he was a real charmer and loved to be social too. He had a good temperament and a natural protective instinct of the home which for the most part is inherant in the breed.

@Feylin: Yay ! you stoped by to take a peek at my stuff !
I'm very happy you enjoyed the photos and hopefully some of the tales that go along with them, but there's no reason to start accusing me of having talent ... The pictures are just a visual tool to help me spin a good yarn and you should know by my other online activities that I can't help but tell a story should the opportunity arise haha .

Anyway you mentioned more then once that you like to shoot a fair share of pictures yourself, I think it a good idea to go to the main page and sign up so you can share some images here too !

It's really a pretty cool community with all levels of photographers ranging from beginners to professional photojournalist and studio photographers. Many are helpful with tips on shooting techniques and use of editing programs and some folk here are just plain social.

And personally I'd love to see what you've been taking photos of ! So what are you waiting for ? Lets see what ya got . : )
