This is the first photo I've edited in the RAW format before converting to jpeg.
I gotta say, even though there are a few added steps to post processing I think I'm hooked . It's like a whole new venue of photography has opened up !
RAW=power! I love shooting RAW and it really doesn't take long once you get a good workflow.
That's a great view.

My suggestion Sharpening - medium Brightnes + 6 D- lightning - normal

I'm still trying to get the hang of using the histogram. The original was color and l tried to bring out detail while preventing washout.
The balancing of these digital negatives might take me some time , but I'm pretty happy with the result .
Love the shadows!

@Craiger: Thanks, it seems easier to keep the depth of the shadows in 16 bit editing..I was thinking of playing around with that photomatrix program, have you ever used it ?
